Westfalia Tow Hitch for April 1956 to September 1958 VW Split buses. When bus production moved from Wolfsburg to Hanover the transmission mounts on the bus changed too. Westfalia introduced a new hitch to fit the Hanover buses. Not only were the trasmission mounts changed, the hitch also featured legs with a larger angle bend to fit the new bus chassis. The hitch arms were also changed incorporating a strengthening kink in them.
